Established in 1956, Alpha Phi became one of the first women’s fraternities to establish a Foundation. Alpha Phi Foundation’s mission is advancing women’s lives through the power of philanthropy through five funding priorities: Leadership, Scholarship, Forget Me Not- Emergency Grant Assistance, Heritage and Women’s Heart Health.
Since 1946, the Dallas and Suburban Alumnae Community has donated over $35,000 to the Alpha Phi Foundation. Our signature fundraiser, Boot Scootin’ Bingo, is hosted each Spring.
In 2026, the Dallas and Suburban Alumnae Community became the first alumnae community to established their own scholarship fund with the Alpha Phi Foundation. The Dallas and Suburban Alumnae Community Scholarship Fund will be awarded to undergraduate sisters who are members of chapters in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The Dallas and Suburban Alumnae Community was awarded the Martha Watkins Mast Spirit of Philanthropy Award in June 2022 at Alpha Phi’s 73rd Biennial Convention!
